Case Studies

Shears Green Junior School, based in Northfleet Kent creates a superb environment for their Pupils, Teachers & Parents. They already had a website for a couple of years that I built before, although at the time of the first website build, no one involved had any idea how popular the site would become. It was time to build a rather large expansion onto their online facilities - their website.

The site is split into two main websites, the Public site and a Pupil only website.

The Public site has everything you would expect from a great School website, hopefully a bit more too!

The Pupils-only website has everything Pupils want to share within the School environment and home. Photos, Movies, Showcasing their best work, a noticeboard of topics and a downloads area.

Something which is vitally important with the project is the ability for anybody at the School to be able to update the School site, easily and quickly. With Expression Engine in hand, this was achieved smoothly and now the sites are updated with just a few clicks.
